Brandon decided it was time I went on a little trip by myself. He sent me to Utah by myself for Ashlyn's graduation and to visit friends. It was the most relaxing five days of my life. Thank you B..I love you!

Ashlyn's Graduation
Ashlyn's High School Graduation
Can you believe it? My little sister Ashlyn is graduating from high school. Ashy, I am so proud of you. You are the best sister anyone could every have. There are a few things I love about you:
1.) You are one of the smartest people I know
2.) Once you put your mind to something you don't give up
3.) You are such a hard worker
4.) It is so important to you to do well in school (even more important than a
date with a cute boy)
5.) You have always been a leader and never a follower
6.) You love your family with all of your heart
7.) I love that you have such a strong testimony
8.) I love that wherever I go with you people know you and are excited
to see you
9.) I love that you have always known where you want to go in life
10.) I love you because you treat me like I am the most important person
in the world when I am with you.
Ashy, you are the best sister ever and I am so proud of you. I love you!

Jace's Surgery
For the third time our little boy is getting tubes put in his ears. He has had a constant battle with ear infections and Asthma. We have been told that this third set of tubes will last 18 months. At that point they will decide if he needs another set. We will keep our fingers crossed that this is the last time. Hang in there buddy..mommy and daddy love you!

Camping at Lake Livingston
Camping, friends, and never-ending play
This spring break we went camping with seven of our closest friends in Texas (twenty families overall were involved in this fun camping adventure to Lake Livingston).

I think Brandon, Jace, and I will agree that the best part was the zip line the Martin's brought but, it also ended up being the most dangerous part. Brandon pulled me to the top and pushed me as hard as he could. At the end of the zip line, was an abrupt stop so Brandon had to run to beat me to the end so he could catch me as I went airborne. Needless to say, he barely made it as my fast speed sent me vertical off the end of the zip line.

The naps were a nice perk

And, the many bike races!

Scottsdale, Arizona
Scottsdale, Arizona here we come with no kids...

The company Brandon works for decided to send all of the stellar performing employees to the Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona for the week. It was crazy trying to find someone at the last minute to watch our kids but, thankfully Brandon's mom was willing to come and hang with the kids for a week.

We attended many fancy dinners

We went river rafting

A real live Arizonan rodeo

The final night we attended an awards banquet

We had the time of our lives. The entire trip was wonderful especially the shopping and sitting by the pool in the Arizona sun but, we were ready to head home to join the boys and their grandma. As soon as we got home we found something rather interesting....
Grandma jumping on the trampoline with the boys. Grandma thanks so much for coming to play with us...we love you!!
