Jace's Easter Party and Egg Hunt at School

I love coming to Jace's classroom. He is always sooo excited to see me and even more excited to see his little Scarlet.

Jace with his two best friends this year Andrew and Logan

Listening to the rules that he has to finish collecting eggs once he has twelve...

Counting the eggs, and so proud that he had the most (it sounds like home is not the only place he tunes out rules).

The Party...
The boys in Jace's class love Scarlet almost as much as Jace does. Two of the boys specifically have told me in the hallway that they are going to marry Scarlet one day and the rest of them make sure they peek in the stroller every morning to say good morning to her. Glad that she's taken care of. :-)

Kai's Easter Egg Hunt and Party at School

Today Kai had his class Easter Egg Hunt and party. He has matured so much this past year and I love watching him interact with his teachers and classmates.

She's officially a member...

of our local gym. Brandon and I have been attending the gym at different times each day for the past three months. So, we were really looking forward to the day of attending the gym once again as a family. Our gym starts taking babies at three months and today was the day. The ladies watching Scarlet said that she did great. Never cried, slept a little, and observed everyone and everything.
Kai was sooo excited to have Scarlet come to the gym with us but, got a little teary eyed when the ladies in the baby-watch told him the rule was that older kids couldn't come into the baby area even if it was just to check on his little sis. Afterwards we stopped by the cafe for a little mid morning snack. Way to go Scarlet...here's to many more play dates at the gym. :-)

Go Pacers!!

Jace recently finished his first season of basketball. He loved it and caught on quickly. He usually made one to two baskets per game and by the end was defending the opposing team pretty well.

Jace received the most energetic cheer leading award on his team (okay not really but, if that award existed he would have won). He loved shouting offense/defense to his team members whenever he was sitting out. His cheer was contagious :)

Reciting the YMCA Basketball Oath

Another perk this season was our extra visitors at many of Jace's games. Scarlet was only five days old when she went to Jace's first game and, we were able to have Nonny, Poppy, and Grandma attend a few games!!
